Selliyal.com is a bilingual news portal that caters towards the growing need for balanced and objective news and information in Tamil and English. In addition to the Web, Selliyal includes an app for mobile phone users. Launched on the 12^th of December 2012 for the Malaysian readership, Selliyal.com strives to provide news and writings in both the languages covering a wide variety of topics, realising that the online news portals in Tamil are under served in Malaysia.

R. Mutharasan, who has penned numerous writings in Tamil and English, is the Managing Editor of Selliyal.com. Muthu Nedumaran, founder of Murasu Systems, is the technology architect of Selliyal.com.
